Everyone else is prepping for New Year’s Eve and I’m trying my best to not FUBAR the special charm I got on the Winter Solstice. I have to place it at 255 degrees facing West and put it up exactly at Midnight tonight and I can’t use a tack or nail and I’m supposed to glue it to the wall but this wonderful blog told me I can use double sided tape so now I’m practicing  with a replica I made and my family thinks I’ve lost my marbles.  If it falls, I can’t put it back up and have to hold onto it and bring it back to the shrine in Tokyo. 

Thank goodness I only need to put the pocket one in my wallet at midnight. I gave those as gifts because it seemed easier than explaining lucky cardinal directions.
