In case you missed the alpha on /earlymorningcrew, I no longer understand my home feed algorithm and I learn best by doing. I’m about to finish clearing out 80% of the channels follow and unfollow everyone. I want to see what the algorithm shows me when I follow zero people. Wish me luck and stay tuned for the experiment!

@wake.eth did something similar recently (unfollowed everyone and slowly started adding back to his follow list), though I think he was more trying to “prune the weeds” that had grown over time, to put it nicely. Is this the new FC meta? 😀

This is purely because I don’t get why my home feed is showing me certain things. I need to go nuclear and see if the channels I follow matter at all.

I’ll be curious to hear about your experience. I’ve tried using the “show me less like this option” but I haven’t noticed it having much impact.
