I guess I think of it like buying/subscribing to a product. Lots of my favorite Farcaster tools are gated by /hypersub and while I can’t always subscribe, when I need the product, I buy a month.

tokengate upside, time, even access to communities. do not tokengate  products. you miss out on so much and gain little imo

I think token gate alpha and beta features, maybe add some personal BTS content but general product should be free for the 90% of users who want to pay nothing, then maximize peripherally for the 9% who will pay for new buggy features, then extra capitalize on the dedicated whale that stan you super hard
