But power badges are not real!

Technically, “Power Badges” are gone. They have been replaced with a “flag” on Warpcast called:

"activeOnFcNetwork"

If it’s “true” your frames show expanded to everyone and you will be on the main feed of Warpcast moderated channels (any channels that has no moderator set). If it’s false, you won’t and your frames will be collapsed. The flag is usually updated Monday at 11:59 PM UTC. 

@basewtf.eth created a frame to make it easy for you to check your status.

Technically, we think they don’t affect the home feed anymore aka your casts aren’t any more likely to be seen…


BUT, they do affect how you are seen in any channel with no moderator set aka Warpcast moderation mode. You go on the main feed. 

But, channel changes happen Oct 3, so it won’t matter anymore because it won’t be used in channels…

BUT, they do affect if your frames show expanded or not.

I feel this. And at least with power badges I knew how to explain it. Now I’m like well, maybe it’s the old algo so interact with more power badge users but the flag is invisible and the ones you see on other clients are made up by Neynar and don’t matter.

I love you for trying to make sense of this madness. Maybe someone takes note of how they are crushing the people who care and support. I don’t want to change my x bio to find me the other place
