This is my favorite café latte in a can in Japan and not all convenience stores and grocery stores carry it so I just went an extra bus stop because I know there’s a store there that carries it because I think it’s that good.

Been to the official UCC museum in Kobe and it was quite an experience!

You’ll love this. I visited their corporate grave in Koyasan. It was my favorite.

Apparently no one is buried here, but it’s more like a memorial everyone who worked there and during special events the monks go pray for everyone at the company. Sometimes it’s special Buddhist days and other times it’s day special to the company. At first I thought it was too intense, like you love and die for your company, but now I think it’s sweet that they companies pay their respects all the time to their workers.

It’s terrible. There’s a reason I don’t really work in Japan anymore! I will occasional consult when they can pay me extra to not listen to me anyway.

The corporate culture is just so different, though it is slowly but steadily moving towards western norms, though this is really nice to know.
