Engagement is always top of mind, especially with the roll out of Warpcast Rewards (WR) to most users (the experiment has been happening for a long time, but most people weren’t eligible months ago). I’ve seen engagement shift over the past month greatly. Even if it feels lower, it feels a bit more authentic. Now that Moxie emissions are over on Farcaster, anyone who was here to farm has no incentive. It’s definitely changing the game. Since only Top Level Casts get rewarded by the algorithm for WR, I’m seeing less replies and way more Quote Casts. What are y’all seeing out there in Farcasterland?

I never had huge engagements so for me didn’t changed a lot to be honest. What I’m observing is the leaderboard top names change week by week. And I associated this to the easy burnout you can suffer when you put all your effort in the WR. I remember I did the same when we needed to get allowance through Airstack points and was pretty draining. Of course the big followers numbers account don’t have to work so much to get attention but they’re not always in the top 10. Means that people are working hard? About the authenticity of the interactions for me never changed, my people are always there.

I’ve seen authentic interactions increase but overall interactions decrease. I had a few posts a year ago that got 4000 interactions. I’ve haven’t seen anything like that in months.

4000? 😳😳😳 I noticed I’m getting more visualizations but numbers didn’t really changed. Btw the quality of interaction is a great thing imo
