I come to Japan in the fall to hunt the red leaves (momiji) and so far, I’ve been very happy. Can’t wait to chase the leaves south, but I plant to stay in Hokkaido another week to take advantage of hot springs, milk, and as much nature as I can take in! I think the leaves look like they are on fire when the sun hits them just right and it makes me stare in awe.

Waiting for the leaves. Maybe November 20th. Tracking Kyoto’s events and most start then.
