I have often lamented the fact that I don’t have multiple lifetimes to:
- pursue all my interests deeply
- to fall in love a million times
- to learn every language and culture
- to get to know every human deeply
- to finally read all the books that I have bought that are collecting dust on my shelf

One of my friends looked at my GoodReads list and said you've probably only got time to read 2,000 books before you die and I was mad at him for a week. So now I read 3 a week so I can get through at least 6,000 or so.
