1. Always have snacks. 2. Trust the mountain guy. The chairlift is closed and he said no to all of us with our shoes. Apparently the summit trail is well maintained but in between us and that trail is drama right now. Gotta go more into the shoe story. I guess traveling with snacks, water and other footwear or toe socks maybe the way to go. Side note looks stunning.

I’m wearing my Hoka’s with decent tracking and he said absolutely not with the ice. It’s beautiful today but apparently it snowed a couple of days ago and this is the dark side of the summit so no hiking.
