In case you missed the alpha on /earlymorningcrew, I no longer understand my home feed algorithm and I learn best by doing. I’m about to finish clearing out 80% of the channels follow and unfollow everyone. I want to see what the algorithm shows me when I follow zero people. Wish me luck and stay tuned for the experiment!

First impressions. 

My feed is not empty at all. 

At first, it was really confused and was mainly showing me accounts who are probably boosted (because I didn’t previously follow any of those people and they are casting in channels I’m not a member or follower of). But after an hour, it’s now showing me myself, and what I assume are boosted accounts, but from channels I follow (because I recognize the channels but not most of the people it’s highlighting).

I wish there was a Dune query for boosts so this was data over intuition.

This is an interesting experiment. My feed looks a bit off (boring) lately but I'm not brave enough to do what you did. So I'm waiting to see what you experience first.

You are in my mentions tab! I’m shook. I really thought this tab was only people I followed, but it’s really interesting to see who’s popping up here.

Hmm  Either "Active on FC" still has it's perks, or the algorithm recognizes that you previously usually didn't ignore me.
