Engagement is always top of mind, especially with the roll out of Warpcast Rewards (WR) to most users (the experiment has been happening for a long time, but most people weren’t eligible months ago). 

I’ve seen engagement shift over the past month greatly. Even if it feels lower, it feels a bit more authentic. 

Now that Moxie emissions are over on Farcaster, anyone who was here to farm has no incentive. It’s definitely changing the game. Since only Top Level Casts get rewarded by the algorithm for WR, I’m seeing less replies and way more Quote Casts. 

What are y’all seeing out there in Farcasterland?

I also noticed the engagement is more on point. I get more reply’s related to the content. More conversations, less emoji reply. It’s the opposite of X and that’s great

I’m seeing way less nonsense these days. Maybe folks are taking the spam labels seriously too.

I still occasionally get only emojis but if they are from strangers I just ignore it. I can’t even tell what post they are replying to!

I think so. And they also go with what you do. Thoughtful posts attract thoughtful comments
