Since Spam labels are now public, I’ve spent some time looking at things these accounts have in common vs accounts that don’t get labeled and this is my initial advice for people who’ve been labeled. 1. STOP sharing frames. If you didn’t build it, don’t share it. 2. Stop recasting. Instead, quote cast and spell out why you are sharing it. What makes this worthy of being shared? 3. Ensure 80% of your timeline is original content. Don’t steal it from the web, make something unique and genuine. It better to not cast at all than to cast slop. 4. Only reply to people in channels. If someone casts to their home feed and doesn’t follow you, don’t comment. 5. Stop tagging people. They don’t get notified of the tags anyway. It’s pointless to tag them.

Oh wow. So every Top 9 of rodeos will increase spam label risk? I love seeing those (and posting them too)

I think if you don’t have a spam label already and have an established account, this isn’t a big of a deal. The people you tag will see it anf get a notification (because you get notifications from people without spam labels) and will probably interact with you and like your post. Because artists love when you promote their work. But if you have a spam label already, no one sees your tags and you look even more spammy.
