I love this shrine because the guardians are doing this hand stand thing instead of sitting. I gave him a little flair with some sakura I found on the stairs. I think he looks way cuter this was. 

I’ve seen unique guardians, like other animals. But this is the only place I’ve seen them not sitting. And I’ve been to MANY temples and shrines.
