Start by complimenting: Say something like, "I like the idea of this. The customer service seems really nice around here." When they reply with a smile, you can order something small, like a snack, then you talk about colours, "I feel red is for danger and green is a positive sign, I think the colours will fit best if switched." "I'm not telling you what to do, but an honest thought I have"
