I’m seeing a lot of weird vibes. Power Badges are going away, but their effects are still on the timeline. Moxie Madness is in full swing, but a lot of folks are just realizing how FarScores work. The next few months are going to be a rollercoaster ride. Warpcast is a gated sandbox that favors a very small amount of key players. We should all leave. But we are all still here because we see something special in what they are building with the Farcaster protocol. If quitting has crossed your mind, you aren’t alone. But if you are still here, it’s because you feel it; the building, the energy, the potential. Something magical is happening here and I can’t put my finger on it but my gut says lean in further. Keep building. Make more tables. Make your own cabal. Shift the power dynamics. Create the Farcaster you want to see and go hard everyday until this thing can scale. Because if it does, we all become the OGs and we will all succeed as the network grows.

The Cabal mentality is what is ruining this app, users are disregarded just cos they’re plain users. Imagine deliberately chasing users off the app.

What’s the cut off for “top”? And are you measuring by following count, open ranks metrics (which one) or by FarScore?

And where does that line cut off? What's the number of followers you need to be considered the "top"?

I don’t have stats to back it up , but from what i’ve seen it starts from around 50k-vitalik or linda’s level of followers. From that level, they just assume every reply is engagement farming. Used to think you were one of them until lately, for you, you actually do care about the app.

I think Moxie has made this more noticeable for sure. But also notifications are a mess. I can't fathom how many they wake up to. I'd assume that they are overwhelmed and not that they are ignoring people on purpose.

Yeah; that might be the case for some, but after seeing how dan views users, it might not be the case for all, some probably just don’t consider some people worth their time or reply. Plus for moxie itself, this is a problem that shouldn’t even exist, it was so obvious that all of these was going to happen, i’m shocked they didn’t find a fix before launch
