If decimation is losing 10%, my retirement savings have been double decimated in the last week. And that’s just a personally clear sign, not even in in the top 10 of bad fallout unfolding.

I tolerated and understood people voting Trump last November even though Jan 6 was a black-and-white absolute disqualifier for me. But if you’re still supporting him after the last week of evil-stupid-incompetent mayhem, which goes far beyond markets, I’m basically done with you.

I see a lot of people who were openly or obliquely supportive have gone silent for now. That’s a good sign. You should at least be rethinking hard. 

But if this continues, staying silent is deep complicity. Those of us who have been consistently against him have zero influence or leverage, so all ability to stop the madness in the short term is with those who supported him. So if you don’t speak up, it’s clear you actually want what’s happening.
