Dave and I are hunters and we shoot with our cameras. We shoot not to kill but to capture the moment and immortalize what is in front of our eyes forever. One of our passions is to photograph storms. Yes we are storm chasers but we have always been photographers first. One of our favourite subjects to photograph is lightning. Raw, beautiful and extremely dangerous lightning. We only get one chance to capture these beautiful bolts. There are no retakes. We have to get it right the first time!

I know in Roman mythology Jupiter is the god of lightning and thunder. Please tell me more⚡️

The planet Jupiter is given the title "King of Thunder and Lightning" due to its turbulent atmosphere, massive storms (such as the Great Red Spot), and the powerful thunderstorms that occur in its atmosphere. Additionally, in Roman mythology, Jupiter (the equivalent of Zeus in Greek mythology) was the god of the sky, thunder, and lightning, which further strengthens this connection.🙂✨
