Happy Tree Tuesday Fam. . Today I’m combining trees and their inhabitants. . Eagles choose their trees wisely! . The tree has to: . support 1 ton or more of wood and softer materials, ~13 feet deep and 9 feet wide. and the birds weight is normally between 3 and 6.3 kg (6.6 and 13.9 lb) . A family of 4 or 5 . Last for many years. . Be near water with their food of choice- fish . In a protected area from extreme wind . The tree has to be accessible the typical wingspan is between 1.8 and 2.3 m or 5 ft 11 in and 7 ft 7 in Love watching the eagles.

Thank you very much for your information.I had no idea eagles make nests in trees! I always assumed they only lived on rocky cliffs and mountains. Nature is full of surprises! 😅
