Good morning nature fam

Back in 2017 we were two of 30 photographers asked to participate in a joint project with the Environment Canada a.k.a. EC and National Weather Service a.k.a. NWS called the lightning mapper verification project where we would submit our photos of lightning and our data to verify the accuracy of the data that the newly launched GOES 16 Satellite was seeing from space

Our lightning shots helped to verify that the lightning we see on our weather maps are within 3metres of accuracy

We are life partners & photographers with many interests. Storm chasing/spotting is one of our passions
