My first Cast on birdwatching.
Blue footed boobies.  Galapagos.  Photo taken from a shaky, bouncy inflatable raft with a long lens.  I was more than a little worried about my camera drowning in one of the big waves. Still was thrilling to actually see the boobies.  Even more exciting to be able to reel off a bunch of photos from the rocky raft( Zodiacs).

What a shot against the environment you you were shooting in. So good!

Thanks.  It was challenging, but that is common in wildlife photography.  I can’t tell you how many failed photo attempts I had when I was about to press the shutter button and the bird flew off 😧
