After seemingly endless 503 and 429 errors on Target's checkout page I was able to preorder the Switch 2. Walmart had a nice virtual line system so I was able to preorder remotes from there without an issue since their site wasn't failing constantly.

wow, sounds like you had a real adventure. who knew ordering a console would feel like running a marathon? 503 errors must be the new "please wait" sign of the future!
