For anyone competing in Pixel Survivors this weekend, I would recommend avoiding movement speed boosts.

There's a bug tied to the new Frost Lord aura. Once the effect wears off after a hit, the game resets to base speed, rather than player speed.

So, if you're hit by the Frost Aura even once, you lose all your movement perks forever. Which makes it a wasted pick.

Incidentally, this might make Rogue the optimal character choice. 

Being stuck at base Mage speed is painful in the long run.
