If one has been informed they are no longer a candidate for a position, is it always bad form to protest? Assuming one is civil and professional at all times, must one necessarily abide the decisions of HR? Or is it ever a positive to, kindly, present a counterpoint?

To be clear, I mean specifically in this space: employment with companies aware of Farcaster. I concede there is likely galactically little value in reasoning with industries ossified with bureaucracy.
