@dwr.eth how do you plan to address diverging incentives between the venture funded Warpcast client team and the Farcaster protocol development team (w a current large overlap) Warpcast employees benefit from equity, but Farcaster protocol devs don’t have a native token Have you written on this tension before?

> diverging incentives What concretely is diverging (that didn't exist before)? Warpcast is focused on growing protocol qDAU 1000x. If we don't achieve that, nothing else matters for Warpcast or other protocol developers?

1/ Sure. I'll try to articulate what I foresee. Today, the pie is growing. You as WC founder have a positive sum mindset, since another client doesn't meaningfully affect the size of the opportunity. Plenty of room. Eventually, protocol growth will stop. You will need to optimize for market share.

2/ FC has lots of people contributing to the protocol, but most development and FIPs are guided by WC team roadmap & effort. You are well capitalized and best positioned to succeed if FC grows. At some point, what is best for FC might not be best for WC, esp. if it enables another client to take market share.
