you were right, simplify, this might be the best course of action, would love to get your take on this idea! https://warpcast.com/fun/0x4c0c8b36

I think micropayments with credit cards are really difficult and I haven’t seen it done well. People are hesitant to use a product if they feel like they are spending money on each use; it forces a scarcity mindset. Instead, you want to quickly get them through the paid flow and then encourage an abundance mindset so they return to the tool often. Alternatively, you can let people create as many as they want, but restrict high-definition downloads to paying customers. That is what remove.bg does and it works well.

this is a little different, as the "create video" part is the most expensive action, shouldn't let them create as many as they want without paying i'll keep looking around, but my intuition tells me something about this 1 video = $1 could work

why not use a credit system? let them buy 20 credits to get started, and offer some "discount" where 20 credits only costs $10 if you buy them in bulk?

i like this if i had 20 credits (1 credit = 1 video) and 2 automations where the automations create 50 videos over the next 30 days, the automation would stop short and they would need to re-up maybe there could be a "purchase X credits" and another option for $1 per 1 video the $1 per 1 video option would give initial customers breathing room knowing they can pay as little as $1 to test it out, while purchasing bulk credits allows them to get 10% to 25% off depending how much they buy

i would suggest giving people some amount of credits free, assuming you have basic auth verification in place to prevent sybil attacks very few people will pay for software without seeing the results first
