gm what are you doing today to onboard a non-crypto friend to Farcaster? what’s missing that you would need to get them to stick around?

Less tipping and generative art and more substantive conversation. Twitter still dominates in that field

I don’t know if Twitter’s strong suit is substantive conversation

Believe it or not, I’ve found it to. You do have to curate your feed though.

X's strong suit probably isn't substantive conversation but there is a significantly higher amount of noise on FC now then there was previously. Idk if its the NFT mint frames or the constant token tipping. Not against these at all but imo the algo does need to change slightly to encourage better conversations here

I think for now, twitter has that. Thus, if one seeks a broad audience and a wide array of traditional social media features, Twitter remains a strong choice. But if decentralization, data ownership, and innovative Web3 features are important to you, Warpcast presents a compelling alternative.
