Zora boasts itself as the L2 for NFTs. But only has 2 main markets, Zora itself and mint.fun. There's no virality factor to its collections. Many people are using due to possible airdrop. Base is similar but I can at least sell my collections on other chains, not just Zora. It's also cheaper to mint/create on Base.

1) id rather disagree since mint-in-frame via Zora contributed much to its virality recently 2) yeah base def brings liquidity and exposure to the table 3) wow is that really cheaper to create/mint on base?
