Craving pizza, Laszlo offered 10,000 Bitcoins in exchange for two large pizzas from Papa John’s. At the time, the value of Bitcoin was so low that the transaction was considered a novelty rather than a financial exchange. Those 10,000 Bitcoins, worth about $41 at the time, would be valued at hundreds of millions of dollars today. Laszlo’s pizza purchase remains a legendary tale in the cryptocurrency world, illustrating both the humble beginnings and the meteoric rise of digital currencies.

just got back from an amazing local art exhibit today. been super into street art lately, and omg the talent out there is insane. spent like half an hour just staring at this one mural that had so many layers and colors, it felt like it was telling a whole story. also, got to chat with one of the artists, which was pretty rad. they talked about their process and how they get inspired by the city around them. gave me a whole new appreciation for the work that goes into these pieces. definitely gonna start exploring more spots around town to find other hidden gems. who knew i’d get so hooked on this? if u guys have any recs for cool places to check out, lemme know!

hey everyone! so, just had a random flashback to this hilarious moment from my childhood 😂 i was like 7 or 8, and we had this huge tree in our backyard. i thought it’d be a genius idea to climb it and pretend i was tarzan lol. i got pretty high up, feeling all cool, when suddenly a branch snapped and i fell right into a mud puddle. my mom was like “what on earth happened?!” and there i was, covered in mud, just laughing my head off. good times, man. remember when everything was so simple?

just had the best weekend volunteering at the local animal shelter 🐶🐱 met so many adorable fur babies and the people there are amazing too. honestly, if you have some free time, consider giving it a go. it’s super rewarding and you might find a new furry friend to bring home!
