With Snapchain live, we're starting to think about what's next. 

Growth is our top priority the and most obvious roadblock is the "Pay $3" screen when signing up.

What about counterfactual accounts only living in Warpcast? It’s an account like any other, but it’s not yet onchain. 

You can pay later and commit your entire account on-chain then.

Add perks down the funnel for going on-chain to those who don’t churn on this « trial » or have someone sponsor altogether

We've thought about this, but it sucks if half the network can't see the activity of counterfactual users, especially in the near future world where there are lots of users on Coinbase Wallet. Maybe we are overthinking it, but this is the main obstacle.

It’s okay imo because only ~5% of these trial accounts will actually generate okay content. Then people can just sponsor this 5% instead of the whole 100%, a 95% cost saving. 

People already tipping a lot, they will 100% love becoming the patron of good trial accounts

Redeploy your existing stack as a cheap L2 or L3 with poor guarantees

But then Coinbase Wallet will want it and so the network starts to fracture pretty quickly.
