i wanna to experiment doing data analysis on blockchain data. one friend showed me truffle, i saw they were sunsetting the project. are there any new projects similar to truffle i could use ? thank you :)

You can start with SQL on curated crypto data by flipside (here is my 101 dashboard).

Going straight to node forks is more for developers managing streaming data, kind of funny you started with truffle.

Truffle was more of a tool to help you develop smart contracts, run tests etc... (similar to Hardhat).

If you are just interested in analyzing on-chain data then you want to use something like Dune, Flipside, Transpose etc... (basically all the same with SQL interfaces to query raw and transformed datasets)
