Zed's answer to Cursor Composer is coming, and coming fast!

They're building their own take on agentic editing, following their recent release of their own in house tab completion called "zeta"

This includes supporting MCP (model context protocol) tools too!

Fastest way to try out MCP with Zed is with skeet.build, which already supports integration from day 0.

I just want them to give me a debugger. Does no one use this stuff anymore?

I don't get skeet is. Is it just a connector to MCP? If so why can't it be offline?
