Sophia seemed to me culturally vibrant, but otherwise perhaps a little drab. Sozopol, on the Black Sea, was, to me, quite beautiful and weird and unique…a really wonderful vacation spot. Aside from that, I had an afternoon in Plovdiv that I cannot for the life of me remember.

Thank you for sharing you experience I understand what you mean. Sofia is a city with many faces and sometimes a very ugly one Plovdiv, on the other hand, is one of my favorites Bulgarian cities 💙 If you don’t remember it, I’d suggest coming back again, especially in spring time (May-June)
