Metaverse never made sense to me except as science fiction. Because you can’t navigate a virtual space by walking (you’ll hit a physical wall in your environment), it’s hosed. And those to whom virtual escapism most appeals are likely also the most physically constrained.

I’ve said it many times. Metaverse as a concept is a scam. It’s a dystopian dream I hope nobody falls into.
