Is there any point in making a super post? Most of the super posts that I see only get a few phaves.

If you have enough followers or eye-catching content, then yes. When I had less than 800, I would never recoup the costs of a auperpost. But then I started making more original content that looked different from what was already being posted and my followers and phaves grew.
