Oh right on. Nothing wrong with the North Shore many an afternoon at takapuna beach back in the day. I'm from Titirangi up in the hills on the way to Piha - now in the UK

And tell me about it try Soft Parade. There's a song on there. Running Blues - well worth a listen if you haven't already

i'm in the UK too now – had a lot of friends in Titirangi (was at Michael Park school in Ellerslie) – and a bf in Laingholm – spent a lot of time out that way

ah – our in-laws are up in Yorkshire in Boston Spa
I am pining to move back (poss great barrier) – fortunately daughter wants to go to uni there soon so I can spend some time here and some time there

Laingholm!! Went to primary near there. It's a lovely part of the world out there Titirangi and beyond
In Yorkshire myself and it's so similar in so many ways just much much colder.
