It has become clear some tippers are engaging in short-term extractive behavior. So beginning within the next day, new restrictions will be enforced:

1. Tips to other tippers won't count toward your tipper score.
2. Within a 7 day rolling window...
  - a max of 15% of allowance can be given to other tippers
  - a max of 15% of allowance can be given to the same user

These changes will benefit honest tippers and hopefully drive more value to underrated users who haven't heard of Farther, which is ultimately the biggest thing that can grow this project over the long term.

So, as an example, let’s assume my allowance is 4k today, and 3k thebrest of the week. Does it mean that I can tip a specific person 650 the first day and 450 in the following days, regsrdless of them being a tipper or not? @farther

It also means I can tip more than 15% of my allo to tippers today, but because it doesnt count in tippers score, does it imply it is likely that I receive a lower allo the next day? Asking them considering the new system has started today. @farther

The easiest way to think about it is:

Add up all your allowances in the past 7 days. Its 15% of whatever that amount is. So you could tip your entire allowance to one person in a day but then you'll likely need to wait a week to do it again.
