The reason people in crypto are excited about the ETF is not because they want to buy the ETF themselves. It’s because of its potential to increase mainstream demand for BTC, and therefore the price.

This doesn't influence mainstream adoption directly

No one will actually create a Bitcoin wallet neither will hold it directly or use it for payments

This only helps pensions to get exposure on an asset at best

Unless we view it as marketing tactic to drive more "brand" awareness to Bitcoin

I think it makes crypto brand less scary and terrible, which - eventually - would increase the adoption of "real crypto"
