Some thoughts about onboarding creators.

The more conversations I have with artists - the more clear it is that no one really cares or thinks about crypto at all.

It's a weird new world that they've heard about but don't actively care to be a part of because they don't understand it.

The "pull" isn't there like it used to be. Sure they can make more money - but often at the expense of cannabalizing their existing audience.

I say this because now is a crucial crucial phase for crypto to onboard meaningful talent and seems like everyone is caught in this trough trying to a) get the best creators onchain and then b) drive enough demand to those releases to get them to come back again

Onboarding creators comes down to trust and authenticity.

Crypto still has a super long way to go before it earns either from creators at scale.

Right now - the most successful creators in crypto are the ones who lean very heavily into all the lore and standards associated with

Part of the challenge is getting those doing well on-chain to turn and help lift up those coming on chain this year. It’s easy to promote something you’ve had success on but the second helping others do the same is asked most will ghost out of self preservation or apathy- but this is not the way.
