It’s clear that modern people aren’t as focused on reading books anymore, turning instead to a variety of ways to get information. Technological advancements, the explosion of information, and algorithmic recommendations are all major drivers behind this shift. 

I think information overload can easily trap us into being passive consumers—our brains get stuffed with data without much room for reflection, and that’s bound to take a toll on critical thinking. On the flip side, if you stay curious and actively seek out the truth, not just sticking to books but exploring a wide range of channels, it’s actually one of the coolest perks of living in this era.
