I’m visiting Seattle for a few days with @jia as she completes the requirements to open her therapy practice for residents of Washington. We’ve visited two times before and are looking for less-traveled places. Any recommendations?

Take the ferry from downtown. It’s cheap, and the views are great even if the weather sucks.

If you love cider and/or either one of you can’t have gluten (probably a long shot lol!) and/or if you love really good bar food (fish and chips, Mac and cheese, soft pretzels etc.), go to Capitol Cider! My partner has celiac and I love really good food. It’s one of our favorites :)

Chinook's for a nice dinner, little chinook's for a casual meal, and visit the locks right there if it's a nice day. It's close to Discovery Park if you decide to take that recommendation, and pretty centrally located to other recs I saw here

Maggie Bluffs near Magnolia. Great tacos next to the sea with views to Space Needle
