One thing that the Bitcoin ecosystem does better IMHO than the Ethereum ecosystem is that it doesn't trade principles for money. Too many such cases. Principles built Ethereum into what it isβ€”don't let it sell out. It's not too late yet, but it could be soon.

Most bitcoin principles are gone with Satoshi and a majority of the remaining people only praise it as money and want to prevent it from evolving to preserve the value. They are stuck in the past because the past is in their favour, exactly like it is for rich people of the old world. Of course, some have good ideas and have the will to make it a poor people empowerment or a resistance tool but they are not the majority. Ethereum is all about evolving. Sometimes it looks chaotic but it's always going the same direction and it's definitely not money first, even if money is essential. No crypto without financial value. But value can be the mean instead the goal.

"Ethereum is all about evolving." - I don't disagree here. It's more about _how_ we evolve as an ecosystem, and e.g. credit card RaaS it's not how I envision it.

There's some different ways explored. Not all of them are exactly aligned with the ideal track, but all go in the same direction: UX and adoption. Some are closer to the original philosophy, some do experiments that go a bit sideways... But long term, it's still going in the right direction to me, we have enough sentinels (count me in).
