It’s almost time for the Empower Backyard Ultra 🐃 Starting at 7 am Iowa time Saturday, competitors will run a 4.167 mile loop. At the top of every hour, we run it again. The race goes until only 1 person remains. Lord grant me the ability to consume calories like a competitive eater. For my legs & feet to have short term memory loss. And to have the best seat in the house, when I inevitably get to the point in the race where I enter a giant cave with a sign outside that reads “PAIN.”
