Similar situation for me, I used to gamble (short-term) with 100%, I do the same still but with only < 5%. Rest is long term 5 to 10 year timeline investments. Def. learned a lot early on through trial and lots of errors.

Maybe it could be the avg eth balance across all wallets coupled w/proof of humanity. So if the avg actual user has .5 eth then it's ~.5. Could also change over time and people are grandfathered in regardless of future req.
