We use magic.link for @perl and we've faced a decent amount of issues. They have been quick to respond, but not so quick to resolve. If had the resources we would probably be taking a look at other vendors.

random outages, users getting randomly logged out on desktop/mobile not exactly the type of reliability you want from an auth provider, especially since we're also on a paid plan with how much money they raised I was expecting a lot more in terms of product quality

Oh yeah, that doesn't sound great at all... Uptime should definitely be a core part of any P0 service like that. Appreciate the insight!
