I don’t think the $500B is real. It’s “if everything goes well we will”.

This whole thing is a soap opera. Elon likes Trump but doesn’t like Sam because Sam betrayed his trust. Sam and Larry are friendly, but Larry was rumored to put $2B into X with Elon so that is awkward for Larry. SoftBank sometimes feels like a Ponzi that kinda isn’t and people call Trump a Ponzi that kinda isn’t, when the reality is that the US entitlement system
Isn’t a Ponzi scheme that kinda is….ipso facto $500B for AI sounds sick.
