Since @nomadicframe reminded me it was Shark Week, I thought I’d share a super rare shot of a shark swimming in the shore break… this 6’-8’ Galapagos shark actually washed up on the sand at one point, before kicking with its tail to get back into the water.

Ha ha ha… yep, never expected to see one so close to shore. It has happened a few more times since, but glad I got this photo. It is often so fast, they flash and are gone.
