I love the EF's recent push to test new things. However, publicly using specific DeFi protocols could be a mistake. Neutral infrastructure empowers all builders equally. When some builders receive preferential vetting, it widely discourages new/small players from participating.

This is the number one reason I've heard from EF people on why the EF does not "use" any Ethereum protocols. If we want this to change it has to start somewhere, and hopefully over time more protocols will be used.

Totally agree neutrality should remain the cornerstone of Ethereum’s ethos. Supporting DeFi broadly without favoritism could better foster innovation and inclusion.
