What I find interesting looking at this 13 yr old book is how these aesthetics have prevailed - not as 'glitch' but instead as a subset of digital aesthetics that no longer references program malfunctions or error executions

Great! Yeah, looking through this again today, it seems like 2009 was as on the ball, if not more on the ball than 2024! Some glorious work in the book that seems as fresh as tomorrow. No one was making work in tight release cycles in those days. Time to work, breath and leave, return, refine, repeat.
