Love this. I meet Alan when he gave a talk at the CAS in London some years ago. It was one of the most irreverent and funny talks on computer art I've ever heard, even to this day. Alan was so unassuming, I wish I would hear his name more often in circles talking about the history of computer art. Thanks for posting :) 150 $degen

Thank you Paul 💗 I didn’t know about Alan, George Mallen, Gordon Pask's Musicolour Machine, Robin Shirley or Peter Kilgannon. Thanks to Catherine Mason and her presentation 'A Quest for Creative Collaboration: George Mallen and the Early Computer Arts Society' at the Generative Art Summit Berlin, I do now.
