We have a ton of media proposals in Nouns, but everything feels fragmented. The most a company should spend on media is 30% of their budget at early stages (30% of 1Y inflows in our case) with a reason to heavily increase acquisition of users and be ready to retain those users. We have very few DAO members that are even willing to retweet for existing proposals on their socials to show support of proposals that they voted YES on. We should take a step back and discuss based on our resource pool of contributors and holders, what are the 2-3 things that we can do amazing and experiment on something that everyone in the DAO is willing to back. To me, it seems like the general community likes nouns.camp / nounswap.wtf, we want to continue experimenting with flows, and we are still on warpcast. Maybe we should figure out how to consolidate efforts to these three things for 2025 and make something great instead of a dozen things good.

The reason DeepSeek is better is because it's trained on Chinese where a single character can have 6+ meanings. "Better" language is more efficient. Massive drop in demand for H100/200s in comparison to 4090/5090s the past 30 days

Have been in a bubble most of my life and have for the first time made it an active effort to understand other cultures at a deeper level. A few open and honest conversations with Russians, Israelis, Palestinians, and more and you start to realize how elitist we are as Americans.

I think it could stabilize in an equilibrium based on what is available each year. I just spent about the amount of ETH for a noun on getting access to a private timeshare of a luxury villa for a few days a year (timeshare onchain). It was clearly defined what I was going to get, what the retail value was, and that I was buying into multiple years (saving money that I would have spent anyways each year) at a slight discount

Exclusive access imo I'm paying a midsized golf membership fee to join the dao, I should be able to get a discount on merch for being a holder, a gift bag from awesome designers at nounstown, etc I have pretty much paid retail for every single thing in nouns, which is fine, but doesn't make me feel rewarded for being a holder most days

Products products products After a month in Asia, I think it's more important than ever for Nouns to be prioritizing super teams in markets that have huge populations to take Nouns further. Lower cost of living means proposals aren't as bloated relative to treasury and product sales at scale allow us to find recurring revenues to fund public goods initiatives while having local teams who understand their own markets better than we ever will. I see 2025 as us building those super teams and funding the best builders who already have existing distribution that can be accelerated through proposals

Dropped into Preface for a few meetings in HK yesterday. Started as an edtech platform for enteprise, they have built a 20m usd/y business that combines coffee, project based blockchain coding camps for children, and an app for courses (they already have a full course on deepseek within a week) Partnered with LVMH, Google, Samsung, and others. Gave me similar feels to when I first saw speedrun ethereum on github. Good luck on the financing!

New liquidity coming in from interesting* places. First harvest and new crops growing up. Large real estate plays, more AAA games studios, lot of waning industries moving 9fig+ capital onchain.
