On the eve of going back stateside, some thoughts of China 1. Excited to see China willing to work with SMEs and to see how much they've built domestically. There are blockchain apps doing 20m revenue that I've never even heard of 2. I believe Chinese studios with western tokenomics will win the onchain gaming market. Hard to compete with hundreds of devs and government stipends 3. Tiktok/Douyin is a cancer but maybe necessary as AI destroys a lot of roles over the next decade. 4. Mobile forward is so important. Wallet tech needs to feel like alipay before major adoption. Not just a wallet, a door into everything else. 5. Speculation is a feature but not a necessary feature. 6. IP is becoming tribal, memecoins are going to be very interesting over the next decade. Modern day cults.

Data is king for everything here. They also are innovating on how fand interact with sports matches, I believe this specific project will go live with the next world cup and also in most console games (fifa)

They're taking each market and looking at how blockchain can optimize security for that industry. One was the porcelain market as there are a huge amount of fakes. Each one now comes with a certificate of authenticity

Completely out of my area of expertise but seems like zuzalu crew would be great for this. We looked into nanocures a while ago from the same team who did the human genome project. China is taking a slow approach and making sure consumers are safe and every digital asset has an underlying real world use case at current date. I'll share a bit of what has already worked here below

The beauty of a headless brand is that contributors can take it in directions they see fit, that's decentralization. I have an ambition to bridge evm to China and open up safe legislation for the country. I just did it myself and I'm glad hundreds of thousands of people will get to know the mission of Nouns. 🫡

The term to understand here is 联合想象利益共同体 Understanding 理解认同决心 of the country was key here and what they wanted was IP. Thank you especially to @esports @atrium and @bigshotklim who helped me convince them that Nouns was the right choice.

Today Nouns DAO became the first government approved DAO in China in direct partnership with the Chinese government. Over the next year, China will provide access for our team to advise and implement the future of China's blockchain legislature. I am excited to bridge the gap for China and am thankful for support from 王野霏, chairman of the Capital Copyright Association. Thank you to everyone at Nouns I've met this year, this still feels like a dream to me and I can't wait for us to be able to use government channels to proliferate our mission

Spent the morning chatting about my vision of Nouns in China with Premier Zhao's second in command, 黄剑平. I got to learn about how he brought Levi's and Cocacola to China while brokering a bilateral trade deal with the Bush administration. Lot of plans starting with an announcement on Wednesday 😉
